  • Phil, you are a little ahead of me. I would be great to finish them up around the same time. I will have to dig in and get some bench time to catch up.

Karl, I appreciate the kind words. It feels good to be building again. All be it at a slower pace. I have a 3yr old daughter that is fascinated with my modeling. She always wants to help. I let her paint scrap wood and other things. Hopefully someday she is posting a build of her own on here. Just don't tell her mom.
  • Just finishing up the boiler.

  • Added the gauges to the back of the boiler as well. 20200616_151518
  • Dustin, looks great. I'm in the middle of scenery work and trying to figure out the look I want. Still cogitating. Keep up the good work. Phil
  • Outstanding! Super job Dustin.
  • Nice. How many HP will it put out?
  • Just a little detail painting. 20200616_223835
The trick is using a toothpick with powder and jamming in all the little holes.
  • Thanks for sharing. Deer Creek Mine is my first SierraWest kit in work, moving up from multiple laser kits. Will take me a while but that's ok. The precision and these are most impressive.
