Help locating an HO Twin Mills article.

Before commencing constructing the buildings I recall an article where someone had built a shallower log pond despite the warnings from Brett.
I cannot find that article and I need a shallow pond to minimize the weight, as I have limited lifting ability, and live on my own. Also due to materials only being available in metric sizes in Australia.
Any help locating that article or advice on building a much shallower log pond appreciated.

  • This might be a help go to Google books search for SWSM modeler's tips and techniques on page 224 there is an article on building log ponds. Note you can download 1 book free of charge.
  • The entire book can be downloaded at this link in 6 files plus the index. I broke it down into sections to make the download more manageable.
The book sections have been updated but the index hasn’t so the page numbers listed in the index might be slightly off

  • Thank you, thank you, thank you Terry Lukanic for amassing this treasure trove of "Tips and Techniques" from SWSM builds

This is another example of a "labor of love" and yeoman's work done on behalf of the model builders here at SWSM. Tips and techniques are collected and indexed here for our reference while building a structure, vehicle or scenery. There are clear references/citations to the modeler and article location for each tip. This is must material to have at hand while building any model or diorama.
Awesome, detailed and incredible are three words that come to mind to describe this project. If you haven't taken a close look at this material you should.
