Backwoods Work train
Had this kit on the shelf for a long time, after seeing the complete train in the Expo contest in Scranton I decided to build it up. My first attempt at using chalks/alcohol washes, love the technique-still learning. Cellphone pics don't look very good but I'm happy with the results :-)

The chalks and alcohol is something that you will always be learning, the technique and application is so awesomely versatile that there are always new, and further directions in which to take it, personally I'm always coming up with or learning new ways to use it, such a great medium.
As long as you are happy with the results that's what matters, we look forward to seeing the pics.
