HO scale 3D printed Ford TT truck... Karl. A

edited January 25 in HO Scale Builds
Finally dug the HO Ford Truck off the shelf and decided to get started on it.
The prints as always are incredibly sharp and very detailed.
Here's the progress so far tonight..

Parts for the kit primed black and ready for top coats.

View of the printed in place interior details which I have started painting.
Hand brake, steering column, gear shifter, foot pedals, horn and seat.

sw003

Steering wheel painted and added to the column.

sw004

View of the painted dash mounted horn.

sw005

All components base painted and ready for assembly and weathering tomorrow.
The kit comes with two hoods, one open, one closed so that you can choose how to model it.

Hopefully finish tomorrow.

Thanks Jerry, Terry and Jim. Much appreciated.

I got it finished off but I dropped the box of parts and lost the front hand crank.

Headlights are tiny drops of epoxy.

    Hood open version.

  • That looks great Karl.
  • Wonderful fit and finish! Beautifully done.
  • Very nice!
  • Very nice Karl. I like the open hood version the best. I seem to remember my dad telling that sometimes they would leave the hood open to help keep the engine from over heating. Again a very good looking LITTLE model. Randy
  • Great job Karl. Love the epoxy idea. I'm gonna have to add that to mine.
  • Thanks so much Emery, Ken, Tom, Randy and Jim.

It's a fantastic kit and very straight forward to build.

On to the next one ....
  • This looks great Karl. I like the colors you used and in HO scale no less. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing.
  • Looks so good, especially perched on your thumb. Great pic.
  • Nice to see your expertise in a smaller scale. Still just as inspiring. Randy
