A&I

I see a lot of reference to apply A&I in the threads. What is this? New here and dont know the terms yet. Thanks

    Isopropyl Alcohol and india Ink mixture. Dilute mixture, maybe 1TBS ink in a 16 oz of alcohol. That's my concentration anyway, others will have different mixtures.
    Similarly, you might see AC which would be the alcohol/pastel chalk technique Brett describes in the manuals or in the "University" videos.

    as Jim states A/I is a mix of alcohol and Ink (india ink, black), to create a wash which enhances crevasses, depth and shadows in our models.
    The recomended type of ink is specified on the "University" main page, along with many other supplies.

    It is used in many aspects of modelling and is very versatile.
