  • I just saw the hidden sierrawest signs. Great idea. Every diorama should have a street or an alley named after that. Great work overall, love the colors!
  • Hate epoxy with a fiery passion. I built one of Brett’s tractors with super glue gel and it worked out fine—to my eyes at least.
  • Just a thought—Walk away from the tractor for a month and come back to it. Your subconscious mind will work on it in the meantime and come up with a way forward.
  • You've been gone so long I thought you moved!!

Glad to hear your making progress.

  • i've been kinda pluggin' away at it. in fits and starts. i still have a long way to go on this, but i just wanted to let you guys know i haven't gone belly up yet.

Like your additions and personal touches, especially the boat being painted.

are you talking about the two tractors i couldn[t complete and decided to make em both under repair??
no credit deserved for that. i'm a shitty modeler.

i thought the boat needed a reason to be on the sawhorses, and so i pinched a paint can and a paint brush from the truck repair kit and there ya have it. i might have to redo the brush though. back in the day the handles wood have been wood color.

  • Looks great! Mini scenes--tractor repair area and repainted boat are real standouts for me.
  • Excellent work looks great.
  • Very nice Kevin!!

    Jerry
  • thanks fellas
  • The mark of a truly magnificent modeler-taking what’s on hand, no matter what shape it’s in, and creating something that would otherwise never have existed!

    well i ain't it, that ain't me. i'm innocent i swear!

  • Looking great Kevin. Love the boat painting scene, very well done!
  • Just saw this Kevin, and you're doing a great job on this. The tractors look great as does the boat. Great creative idea to make it look like it's getting painted. You're making great progress and it looks super.

added some more greenery. i still have a few more details to place and greenery to add but im getting there, slowly but surely.13
  • Looks great Kevin! I like the green...
  • Looking excellent Kevin. Like the conrast between the red rust and the grey tone on the corrugated, and also the green.
  • Perfect final touches!
  • Coming along nicely Kev! Lots of interesting little scenes to look at. The scenery is also subtle and adds a lot to the scenes.
  • The well ordered chaos of pallets looks really natural. As does the greenery.. well done my friend !!
  • Very nice.
  • wow, thanks fellas
  • with the exception of the roof ridge on the tractor repair shed (which i will finish up today or tomorrow) i'm calling this one done. i may add a sagebrush tree, but i don't know for sure if i will.
