I think I'm the first, but, maybe not.
    I know I haven't seen it before.

  • Looks great, nice job.
  • Love the simplicity. Great effect.....Rick
  • Thanks Jim and Rick,
got a base coat of paint on it made a door and added it, also made the lighting better, IMO.

  • My wife said that you can disassemble the light and not have the white plastic deal on it

Ha, thanks Mike, that made me smile.

  • A cool project
  • Another possible option...and one I'm thinking of using is the Evan Designs fire simulator.....I like this idea too....
  • Great detail Karl!
  • Very nice addition to a fantastic casting
  • Karl, Good idea.....I did the same thing on a wood burning stove about 20 years ago
  • Thanks Bryan, Art, Tom and Joel, I think it's a great addition to one of Brett's amazing castings.
$1.99 for 3 flickering 'candle' LED's at Hobby Lobby, that fits my tight wallet. Easy to hide in the base (which I've done) and scenic around/over.
Just showing another way of how easy it is to do these days.

  • Very cool subtle effect! Simple and inexpensive makes it a win all around. Thanks for sharing
  • Karl, great job. That is insane modeling for the boiler light.
Great idea for the hobby lobby led's. I believe I saw these at Hobby Lobby.
Keep up your great ideas and work!!
  • Where's the marshmallow's?

    Nice job Karl.
