  • Thanks C....great reference pix

  • I thought that this was some of Ken's grunge projects
  • These are great. The satellite dish in the first pic cracks me up...doesn't look like it belongs.

I took some photos while on a trip to CO last summer. Mind if I post some here. I think they fit the theme.
  • Please do Bryan.
  • Thanks Carl,
Love the grunge. Also neat on the green wall how each nail hole causes a streak of rust and would clearly be seen in Ho scale and maybe even N.
  • Thanks Carl.

I'll break these into a couple of categories. I tried to get some shots of things we might do as modelers. The first set has a rundown mine, an underground workbench, metal roofing from a depot, a retaining wall, and some old but functioning track.

  • Yes please
  • Between Carl and Bryan they are blowing the top off ideas for weathering and other stuff. The draisine (railbike) really caught my interest among other ideas posted by Carl and Bryan. What a great project that would make. Start digging into those spare parts boxes! Checked the internet for another photo of such a conveyance. Here are two results from Wikipedia.

    Railbike Draisine or Velocipede 1
